Rogue Academics seeks to provide a positive learning experience for every student. Our tutors specialize in creative teaching approaches tailored to the individual student’s strengths and weaknesses. We celebrate students’ unique learning styles and embrace students' neurodiversity.
An Innovative Approach to Education
At Rogue Academics, we recognize that everyone learns in different ways and/or different rates. However, many learning institutions adhere to a “one-size-fits-all” teaching approach and many educators fail to properly relate to their students. Through innovative and adaptive teaching techniques, our team encourages students to continue learning new concepts together as partners. Finally, we believe that a supportive and encouraging teacher/mentor relationship is fundamental to any student’s success.
Gabriela Ferreira
Gabriela Ferreira is a trained Sociocultural Anthropologist and Methodologist with a passion for education and a life-long love of learning. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Miami, where she double majored in Art and Anthropology with a minor in French. In 2018, Gabriela completed her master’s degree at Florida Intern
Gabriela Ferreira is a trained Sociocultural Anthropologist and Methodologist with a passion for education and a life-long love of learning. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Miami, where she double majored in Art and Anthropology with a minor in French. In 2018, Gabriela completed her master’s degree at Florida International University in Global and Sociocultural Studies.
As a private tutor and education coach with over a decade of experience, Gabriela specializes in standardized test preparation and academic coaching in K-12 subjects, including all levels of Spanish and French language courses. Her unique holistic and methodical approaches to education emphasize executive functions, time-management, and organizational skills.
